Liverpool boss Klopp is ready to stick with Karius despite the German's horrendous Champions League final display.
Karius made two mistakes as Real Madrid won 3-1 in May, though it later emerged that he was concussed following a collision with Sergio Ramos.
Liverpool have been tipped to sign Alisson Becker and Jan Oblak in the weeks since their European dreams were dashed.
But the Mirror say that, not only is Klopp willing to back Karius, he is also ready to publicly fight his corner.
The Liverpool boss is adamant his current No 1 WILL recover from May's heartbreak.
