Leeds United completed the signing of defender Leif Davis on Wednesday afternoon - and the club’s fans on Twitter were frustrated they have not strengthened their first team and even feel like history is repeating itself with not enough marquee transfers.
The full-back arrives at Elland Road from League Two outfit Morecambe and will link straight up with the Under-23s, it has been confirmed.


He has made a permanent switch to the Yorkshire giants on a three-year deal and joined for an undisclosed fee.

Davis, 18, has impressed at youth level for Morecambe and will now hope to cut the grade at Leeds.
The Whites have become renowned for integrating academy players into the first team in recent years, with current senior stars Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira shining examples of that.


However, a selection of Leeds fans are underwhelmed to hear their new signing is just an addition to the Under-23s squad and want manager Marcelo Bielsa to bring in some real quality to the first team.
